Hey guys!
My name is Alvin and I just received my first droid device just this week, the HTC Thunderbolt. Looking to play around with it and make a decision on whether or not to keep it or move to the Inc2. Personally, I live in a 4g area where the down is ~11.6mbps (forgot up) and I got about 5mbps on 3g. Don't know if this is necessarily worth it since the 4g will be getting greater coverage. Also I wanted to use this forum to check on some feedback about the battery life. After letting the stock battery life run out, I charged it up and today I had it off the charge from about 7 and it lasted me til 8pm. But this was with minimal-ish use.
Downloaded 2-3 apps
Had facebook on update every 1 hour
tried downloading the new update many times until I got it to work
2 different phone calls about 1 hour each
light browsing
Just wanted to put this out there to see if it will help anyone else or compare it to other people. I know I can do things like download juice defender or app killer but I'm just playing around with it for now.
Anyway, seems like a good community and I'm eager to help/learn!
