I am really new to Android only a 2 day old newb to Android on my shiny new Evo 3D protected by the Otterbox Defender case. What stuff do I really need to know about the Android? The only apps I have found so far that a must have is HTC Sync.
What are good useful apps to have? What is a good backup solution I really don't care to have Outlook installed on my system or to be using google to transfer contacts I have no interest in mixing my contacts with phone contacts with my email contacts. So I prefer a good free app that will backup my apps, contacts, sms, and messages.. If no good free ones I will purchase a good inexpensive backup app. Preferably one that does not require ROOT as it is a new phone and with the advantages I have not really seen much advantage to ROOT on a new EVO 3D at this time.
So basically I'm a total newb in new waters when it comes to the Android but I can say after I downloaded Equalizer and turned up the volume on my phone it's much louder now which media volume was way to low by default on. Quite a major upgrade from my old TouchPro 2 phone.
