New to Android.Need Answers

Hi Everyone,

as i mentioned i am new to android.i have bought my ACE yesterday.
I need to ask three questions?

1) How to Lock the Memory Card.? I mean no one should get access to "My Files" without password.how can i do that?

2) how to increase battery life?

3) Is there a official release of Gingerbread for ACE in India?

2) Switch to 2G and turn on 3G, WiFi or BT only when needed. (and use less apps like browser, games and so on)
3) Download (from here) and run Kies. If update is available, you will receive notification and how to update you phone.

For #1 you need App Locker by gmobile from Market. It allows you to lock any app, and "My Files" AFAIK is considered as an App.
