New to Android theming

[creativelab]

I just uploaded my first application to play store and want to know that how google updates sales stats.
I am also curious how people will find my application on play store except the search function. Is there a category for new apps?

Welcome to the forums!

I'm not sure how they update sales stats. I do know that if your app is paid, they take ~50% of the profit, similar to the App Store on iOS.

There's no category for "New apps", but there are tabs for "Top New Paid" and "Top New free" apps.
You can always post on sites like Reddit or the Application Announcements section in the forum.
