Hey everyone, I am getting my first android phone this week (EVO) and am really looking forward to getting my hands on it. One question I have for now is if it is worth it to root my new phone? The free wifi hotspot sounds cool but is there any other reason I should consider tethering? Thanks :)
 
Welcome to the android forums. Imo you should get a feel for your phone before hacking it. Play with it for a while stock and really read up on rooting before making the plunge..
