Hey all.. just wondering what will rooting will do and if i need to do it..??? i have read some of the forums and it seems that it will help me get rid of some of the garb that came with the phone, but dont really know how to root my ally..i just got it and i dont want to screw it up..lol.. i imagine that was everyones thought at first.. but i would really like some insite about it and some the apps thats out there for these mini computers. thanks for all the help..

Rooting the phone allows you to modify the phones system partition. You can freeze or delete unneeded bloatware apps from the phone, you can modify system settings (ie., font size) that may not have necessarily been provided for in the delivered phone, and you can do most anything else you could possibly want to the phone.
