What's up gang. I've been a long time reader (at least since I bought my Evo this fall). I've been a long time admirer of the Linux/Android OS as I'm a big fan of open source and a huge apponent of "boxed" anything. I paid good money for my device and I want to use it how I see fit. I.E. no Crapple type restrictions you get with the iPhone. I've been reading about rooting for a while, and I think I'm going to give it a shot this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes!
