new to android

Just got a droid x global, love the phone but the battery life is beyond terrible. Have an extended battery coming, with my old blackberry storm I could run three days without charging. This one gives me an hour. Wow trying to adjust the settings, but wow.

If you are getting battery life that short then there's something wrong with your phone. Personally I'd take it back to Verizon and have them provide you another phone...

The droid X should be getting a full day. Your battery much be bad. I would take it back and get another one.
