New to Android

Hello!

I got a Nook Color for Fathers Day (Do I have a great wife or what?) and after 3 days managed to root it for Android. For the most part, I think it's wonderful. I have an IPod touch & this is like its big brother. But....

I'm new to the android format & don't know what to do when I run into trouble. Is there some sort of User's Manual available?

I'm currently having 2 problems.

I ran softkeys, not knowing what it was, & don't know how to shut it off.

Wnen I try to enter an appointment into calendar, I get the message "Loading Calendars" and it never finished.

Any ideas?

Congrats on the new Nook and yes.. your wife out did mine. I don't know that much about the Nook but I can give you a link to a sub forum here just for the Nook users.
I'm sure they can help you get the most out of your device and help you with problems. Here is a link: B&N NOOKcolor - Android Forums You will see at the top of that page the sub links for the nook such as support and root. You can do some reading or just ask for help there. Have fun.
