As i'm new to the android (and this is my first contract phone) i was wondering if someone could help me... I only really use internet for facebook but i go on it quite alot! and now for the android market... How long would i have before i had used all my 500mb allowance.. i don't go on youtube or video call. But i would like to download some new songs for my phone... also is there a quick way to check your balance without having to ring your network entering your mobile number etccc :) thank you

Hi,
Welcome to the Android forums!
If you should mostly use Facebook, you can download the Facebook app from the Android Market. First of all, you need a Google account if you don't have it yet. Without watching videos and things like that, you should manage with 500 MB. Just to be sure, also make sure you have a so called Data Counter (also available in the Market), that checks the use of data. This way you can find out in time if your use is reasonable.
If you want to download songs, do this with your PC and then copy them to your phone.
At last, use wifi as much as you can, that won't use packet data. Enjoy the phone!

Just got one Galaxy ace and i would like to know if when im using the wifi, should I turn the internet(3G) off?
Thank you
