This tutorial helped me to get started :

My advice and experience is when you do the tutorial, make a smaller version with everything explained in your own words( this is will make you remember it better and give you a small book where you can look at if you forgot something youve lernt earlier),also dont move on until you understand what youre currently doing. This is very important as ypu will be flooded with information.
If you find out the tutorial isnt good for you, search another. I've done all this 2 months ago and iam writing my first non practicable app which has pretty impressive functions.
Also, any experience with coding will hhelp out alot. I did html css php javascript before this. This wil make you understand syntaxs better.
