New to Android

I am new to smart phones and to this forum. My wife thinks I am pretty sharp when it comes to new (post 1975) technology; my son thinks I should have in-home technical support. I think I am on my son's side of a middle view.

I have been reading posts and responses and must confess I find very little that is in anyway familiar. However I have been impressed by the number and depth of responses. I think I have found a good place to seek help and perhaps, sometime in the future, offer help. Hello to all of you.
