New to Androids

Hi gang,
I just picked up my LG Optimus the other day from US Cellular. This is my first smart phone, after having a Razr, LG Glimmer, and LG Tritan. I'm really impressed with the amount of customization that can be done, especially after the phone's rooted. So far I'm happy with the Optimus, but my contract runs out in September so I'll probably keep the Opt until then and upgrade to a Galaxy S phone.

Just wanted to say that this is a great forum and I've learned a lot from it!

Welcome to the Android Forums!

If you haven't rooted quite yet, I suggest holding off on it until you have had time to learn the android OS a little better, if you jumped right into it, there is a Sub-forum specifically for all-things root. This forum is helpful for everything from peole new to Android to long time veterans.
