Help New to Backflip

I recently bought a Backflip on eBay to try it out (I have a iPhone and also a Samsung Moment). I have had several Android phones so I am not a newbie to the OS. So far, despite of all the complaints I heard before I got it everything appears to be working great. I did get the Blur 13.35 update today (although I don't use Blur at all). I can wait for the 2.1 update in the 3Q although it's going to be hard.

PS: I you are looking for a belt holder for the Backflip, the Seidio Innocase Holster for the Sprint Hero works great. The Backflip goes face in to protect your screen.

I currently have a Moment but might have to switch to At&T so I'm looking at the Backflip or an iPhone. I'm not hip on either. I want to stay with Android but not so sure about the Backflip as a phone.

Any thoughts?

I don't use mine for much to be honest. Internet, texting, voice calls and email.

I also have the Moment and looking at going to AT&T and the Backflip. I really don't like Apple and don't want an iPhone. I love the Android system on my Moment, but hate Sprint and getting sick of the Moment it self. I was playing with the Backflip today and liked the keyboard a lot more then my Moment's.

I find it interesting all the hate that the Backflip gets. It's a great phone, can't understand why people hate on it so much. I honestly think some spec junkies read the specs for the phone and spread their hateful disease through the internet deeming the Backflip garbage. If you get the Backflip I doubt you'll regret your decision. Also, it's the best selling phone on Amazon Wireless so it can't be too bad.

I agree 100%. I LOVE my backflip and I am an Android Junkie and hack.. I mean programmer :D My wife who is not a techie also has one and loves it. I have worked with 12 year olds that have the phone and one person that was over 80 years old and they both loved the phone. If you notice that every person (100% of them) that badmouth the backflip do not own one and have not owned one. That is like saying the new Chevy Camaro is a crappy car because it comes with a V6; yet they have never driven one.

So far every person that I have talked to that has a backflip LOVES it! Hands down. It just works. There are some things that would be nice, like getting Android 2.1 and not having the locked down system, but it is not that bad and 1000 times better than the fallbacks of other phones.

Another point, if you get the phone, you have 30 days to send it back if you don't like it. However I don't know of anyone that has used that todate.
