i have just joined this forum - i live in Shrewsbury UK.
I have been Following, with great interest, the discussion on extended battery life on the HTC Hero phone as I am considering upgrading the battery on mine.
It seems to me that one has to be very careful of buying batteries on Ebay!

Buying batteries on eBay is always somewhat challenging. Many knock off batteries have fewer cells to help the manufacturers keep their costs down. Some of these batteries also tend to be somewhat over-stated in terms of their capabilities.
