New To Forums AND a New ANDROID USER :)

Hi , Its SheBandit..
I finally ordered and upgraded my life to using an ANDROID cell phone. Im a 35 yr. old female and have NEVER even used one. I am staying with my carrier I switched to 3 yrs. ago, STRAIGHT TALK, and ordered my ANDROID ( dont yet have it ) but will on Monday.
One question, I bought the ZTE MERIT. Is it a good ANDROID and a good one to start with since I doubt I will ever go back to using my regular cell.
Also, are the accessories easy to find/purchase and are they affordable , comparing them to the rest of the Android Accessory market?

You can ask your Android related questions in this area until we get a device specific area set up for your Merit. Android Lounge - Android Forums

As for Android apps... you will find the market full of free apps as well as paid apps.
