hello, i am new to all of this so let me explain my situation. i have a U.S. Motorola backflip using android 2.1 update 1 on at&t. i would like to root my phone to use a custom rom but i don't know if anything still supports rooting this phone since it is almost 2 years old now.
if it is still possible, could someone please walk me through the steps starting with a downgrade (if necessary) to 1.5 android and ending where i can find the roms? i know that is a lot to ask and i wish i didn't have to ask but the all the threads i have read are outdated and usually don't have begining to end using one method (program). i would rather not use the super 1 click method if possible, but if that is the only way, then so be it.
