Hello everyone!
My Android powered phone is the Samsung Fascinate on Verizon. I like the phone a lot. But I have to say, I miss the form factor of my old LG Voyager. Does anyone else like that type of phone (external touch, internal non-touch screen and keyboard)? As far as I know, no Android-powered phone follows this design (the closest being the Motorola Backflip). I understand that it is a bulkier design, but I really liked it. Anyone know if a clamshell Android is in the making on any network? Honestly, if my Voyager ran android, I would still be using it. The camera was great for self-portraits or photos with friends. And the internal screen and keyboard was great out in the sun!
So I guess my question is are there any phones like this in the making? And, who else would sacrifice size for this kind of design (like me!)?
PS. I'm not knocking the all-touch design or sliders, I just really like how phones like the EnV line and Voyager had the best of both worlds (even though they weren't smart phones).
PPS. If this question was already asked elsewhere, I appoligize.
