So I just bought my wife a c811 (upgrade from c771)
Came with M40, rooted with motochopper in debian. Had to mod the script to use system adb before it worked.
Installed the bootloader that allows boot to recovery and cwm
backed up and Upgraded to m70, then promptly downgraded to m50 seeing how they f'ed up root.
Flashed superuser (I like open source) and backed up again.
So no I'm ready to debloat. Is there a list somewhere of what I can safely remove?
Most is obvious but some is not, such as the email apk. She doesn't use exchange so can i blow it away and use k9mail?
I'm hesitant as i went too far with my kyocera torque and now prl update and some other stuff doesn't work (unless I push it manually)
That phone has no recovery so this is less risky. Still anyone got a cheat sheet?
Also what is the chance i could get this phone on sprint? I'm happy with ringplus but this is a way nicer phone than the torque, especially for $50. My wife uses pageplus.
