Root new to roms

I have always rooted and install kenerals to my phones, but never took the next step Lol, any recommendations for a good nexus 7 ROM?

CNA 3.8 is out now. Haven't loaded it on my N7 yet but it's really great on my Gnex.

I love Cyanogen Mod and i know that they are working on a Stable version of 4.1 (CM 10) for the Nexus 7 right now if you want to try it out.

Beware: The downloads are nightlies, meaning they are less stable than an actual built, i am using one right now and haven't had issues, but i just wanted to make you aware

quick question, tried going into recovery, and a dead android with a red triangle appears, what does that mean? and how can i fix this?

Thanks for moving it btw, and yeah its been flashed.

EDIT: Got it to get to the process or installing it, but now its back to the same thing, just this time i can see the errors it goes as follows;
installing system files....
symlinks and permissions...
symlink:some symlinks failed....
E:error in /sdcard/download/codenamed android 3.8.1nexus7.zip
instillation aborted...
/tmp/recovery.log was copied to sd/clockwordmod/recovery.log please open rom manager to report the issue

I found the fix, if anyone has the same occurring problem, please just reflash using Nrk and flash recovery with twrp
