New to Rooting. Help pls?

I'd like to root my Cricket HTC Desire 510. Nothing special like ROM flashing or whatever. Just a root to use root apps and cydia. I've looked around but I either don't understand the tutorials, or they are outdated.

Could someone pls link me to a good tutorial for it?

Honestly, you're best bet would be to post a thread in our HTC Desire 510 root area.

I'm sure there's still folks watching that area that could best advise and guide you.

This general rooting area may not get you folks experienced with that particular device.
