New to Rooting Phone, Nexus now stuck on Logo. Please Help! (X-Post from Nexus Forum)

Hello everyone. I'm going to give you guys some back-story on my problem. I decided to overclock my phone to give it a speed boost. I followed WUGS Rooting guide to root my phone. I then installed clockwork recovery mod. I used Franco Kernel #365 for Jelly 2.2 and followed the guide on how to install the kernel. After I installed the kernel my phone got stuck on the Google logo. I have tried going into recovery mode but anything I do there doesn't seem to help, also I have tried connecting it to my computer but it is not getting detected. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.

Did you make a nandroid backup before you installed the new stuff?

I made a backup when WUGS prompted me to, but not on the phone itself. Really really dumb of me I know, but I guess I can blame my inexperience.
