New to rooting.

i want to root my galaxy s2 4.04 xxlq6, but i recently found about the brick bug and was wondering if i flash siyah through odin, will i get hit by the bug?

and i have already checked the eMMC app, and it DOES say i HAVE the bug.

Hi rohin26. It's great to have you here at Android Forums. You will want to read up as well as ask questions about root and the bug you speak of prior to rooting.
No knowing which S2 you have, I'm leaving you with links to the S2 areas. You will want to follow the link that pertains to you. Once in that area, you will see a link to the root section for that S2. Give that link a click and you will be in the correct area for the root info and support. Good luck to you.
