Help New to S3, couple questions

Just made the switch from iPhone... had my s3 a couple days now and have a few questions

1: is it supposed to charge this slowly?? My iPhone charged probably 3-4 times faster. It takes about a half hour for 10% to charge...

2: my phone synced my contacts with Microsoft exchange server (whatever that is) and now I have a bunch of contacts with no numbers etc, how do I unsync contacts from Microsoft exchange?

Average charge time using the wall charger is around 3.5 hours.
Using USB can be up to 5 hours. The Manual states 3-4 hours using wall charger.

I don't use Microsoft Exchange so I can't help here.

1) Depends how you are charging it - are you using the supplied lead ? wall charger ? or via usb on a laptop ?

2) Exchange is an email server, typically used in business. Have you tried to set up your work email or something ?

What I would suggest you do is remove any settings to do with exchange server. Go back to your iphone and follow this: Set up Google Sync with your iOS device - Google Apps Help
Then use that google account on the S3 and all your contacts will be backed up and on your phone :)

Agreed iPhones charge a lot faster especially through USB cable to PC. Don't know why but that is just the way it is.

You unsync by only showing the accounts you want in the settings under contacts.

bare in mind the battery on the S3 is much bigger and better than the iPhone thus will take longer to charge.
