Root new to tablets

so i installed vegan tab and i cant seem to get it back to the stock setup because i would like to put ics on it. i tried following the steps from gtab for dummies but it still wont work. when it comes to this rooting stuff im not very good at all, as if you couldnt tell....thanks

I dont think you need to be at stock cause thats not what i do
