New to the Android

Just thought i'd spend a minute to pop in and say hello. I just got my first taste of the Android OS via the Eris. I'm a converted Palm Treo/Win Mobile user so this is all so fresh and new to me. I've had the thing for about 3 hours and have literally not stopped customizing and playing with it. So far so good.

See ya around.

Welcome to the AF forums and enkoy your visits !!

Hi, Jason.
I'm a diehard Palm Tungsten e2 user.
I guess the time has come to jump to a smartphone.
I have a few questions.

1) Why ERIS vs. Motorola Droid or iPhone?
2) Was the conversion hard, time-consuming, etc.?
3) How did you transfer contacts, calendar, tasks, and notes?
4) What are you using now for those things? Google?
5) Any regrets with ERIS?

Thanks. Dave
