Hi,
I'm Clint from NC. I currently have a D1 and a Devour... Unfortunately, i'm on here trying to find out information on the devour....

The devour crapped out on me.. the screen no longer works and It's still under warranty. It's being replaced but I have to send this one back.. How would I be able to wipe this one clean before sending it back with a non-working screen? The only computer that I have right now is an Apple with OSX 10.4 so the motorola media link isn't an option.....

The slide out qwerty keyboard actually lights up.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Clint

okay thanks :D Just really wanting to get all the data wiped off this thing before shipping it back to motorola.

Just to clarify: When you turn it on, the screen is completely dead? It doesn't show the Motorola M logo or anything? If you're really that worried about wiping the data, you don't exactly need the screen to do it. First, take your SD card out, that holds most of your data. Then, press R and Space on the keyboard and turn the phone on, holding those two keys down. After about a minute you can bet it'll be in recovery mode, even if you can't see it. Press Z and M, and your phone will format the Data and Cache partitions, performing a "factory reset," You should be set from there. Save your SD card for your new Devour and have a merry christmas!
