I have a Samsung Intercept & I was wondering if anyone had found a way to install apps to the SD card. I understand that with the release of Froyo 2.2 (or whatever iteration it is now) this will be supported but was wondering if perhaps there was a manual workaround. Thanx 4 any replies. PEACE

Hi and Welcome! In my low end Huawei Ascend I can go into settings and enable it so that all apps are also d/lded to the SD card so I would think that yours would surely have that feature.

Have you thought of asking this question in the Samsung Intercept Forum? You can find it by clicking on FORUM above and then scrolling way down until you find all the phones listed. Good luck!

Welcome to the Android Forums!

With Android 2.2 you can use the app APP2SD to move apps to your SD Card. That said not all apps will run properly on the SD card so your mileage may vary.

If an app has a widget it seems to have issues. You can move them by going into Menu>Settings>Applications>Manage Applications I believe. You can only move them one at a time though. Not move all at once or anything. Again make sure if the app has a widget you don't move it. The widgets dont play nice supposedly.
