I just got a new Samsung Epic, and it is an incredible device.
Do I need to worry about putting any kind of anti-virus software on my phone, since there is so much you can do on this phone?

I came from using a Blackberry, and I didn't have to worry about one. I must admit that I could use my keyboard faster on my BB as this keyboard is so much bigger.

You should always concern yourself about security as threats are always present on the Internet (and Android phones are Internet devices). That said there currently are not a lot of specific threats to the Android OS. I think there are currently less than 5 known exploits total. At this time I don't think an AV app is needed but it will be needed at some indeterminate point in the future...

Ok, I didn't think so. There is just so much I can do on this thing compared to my Blackberry curve.
