Hi, I'm new to the Android forums. I just started browsing around two days ago. I've had an LG Ally for about 4 months now and just rooted it thanks to Trident's guide. I got to enjoy Velocity for about an hour before the phone dropped into the dog's water bowl! Hopefully it will be fine. I pulled the battery (the moisture sticker was still dry), shook it, and stuck it in a bag of dry rice at a friend's suggestion.

Dry rice is definately a reasonable way to wyck away the moisture in the phone. Leave the phone there for at least a couple of days before trying to power up the phone.
