Help New to the S5 forums.

Hey Guys, I've been using this site for over 4 years now with previous phones but I'm new to the s5 forum. I recently brought a second hand Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F which is 3 network UK branded & unlocked which I'm using with a o2 UK sim card. I just want to ask will I still get 3 UK firmware updates from Samsung using a o2 Sim?

Yes. The phone is updated by Samsung, according to the CSC/Product code of the phone. See #1.8 of 40 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide

Thanks for confirming that Ironass. I read a post elsewhere saying that you can't get ota updates on a branded phone using a different network sim.

Cheers for that Phil, I think I'll stick the 3UK firmware, I heard if you install a different network firmware it can stop you getting ota updates & mess up your knox settings.

That's the one I have, Ironass. It's great to see 3 are our phones up to date.
