Hey guys. I've been using my Android phone since October, but am finally getting around to exploring all it can do. I got the Ally because Verizon told me at the time, explicitly and repeatedly, that "we have no plans to sell the iPhone in the near future." Well, joke's on me. At least my phone was free.
I'm fairly happy with having a smartphone in general, and I do like the customization Android has to offer. I am not a programmer, but I am learning ho to do themes and widget skins. Right now I'm using ADW Launcher for the home screen, and I switch back and forth between Simi Clock and Beautiful Widgets for my clock, based on my mood. I'm having difficulty with the Super Clock skin I'm working on, but I'll get help for that in the appropriate thread.
Lastly, while I may new to this site in particular, I post regularly on a few other non-Android forums, so I understand how this is supposed to work. Glad to be on board, and looking forward to getting to know everybody!
