Hi everyone,..Im new to the forums but I just rooted my Ascend last night and an anxious to find out how to get the best performance out of my android :o
 
aahhh..feels good when your phone is rooted, doesnt it? i rooted my milestone and i never look back lol. you may have already done this, but overclocking is probably the best thing to do when your phone is rooted. this boots the speed of the cpu faster than it should go.

installling custom roms is also a great option. it changes the look of your phone completely, and most roms are free to download off of various websites.

one of my favourite things to do was download an app called boot animation changer which, obviously, changes your boot animation. its free and there are quite a lot to choose from(the paid version has llooaaaadddsss!!)

other than that there are lots of other apps from the market that require root access. for example there is a screenshot app that lets you shake your phone to take a screenshot of anything on your screen, so you can share them here in the forums :)

Thank you so much,..Im very excited about my new rooted phone,..my question to you is how do I overclock? Ive been reading up on it but I dont really know exactly what to do
