Downloaded EmulatorRoms app file, and apparently there's a security lock that stops me from installing apps not from the marketplace. Someone know a way around this?

go to settings > applications > unknown sources this will allow you to install non market apps. it will also void your warranty if you tick this box. enjoy

Where did you read that ticking the box voids your warranty?

Some service providers don't want you checking that box.
AT&T in the states blocks that entire option....no way to turn on debugging or allow software from unknown sources.

Yep know about at&t locking it, but never in almost a year have I read that it voids your warranty...

i have an xperis x10 a and its proving to be v v v confusing. i have an im application that dosent work. i want to use my hotmail messenger but it says some network error occured thought my youtube, facebook and browser are working just fine...any tips?

Try a different messenger app.
What messenger app do you use? Has it ever worked?

sorry, I was sure I had read that in a post last year when I had just got my phone and was new to the forum and looking into messing about with the phone, but there's also the possibility that I might have imagined it lol

i have x peria x10..can i save the pictures i see on lets say on facebook or other websites onto my phone and if yes, than how?
