New to Virgin Mobile, come help a sista out...

I'm new to Virgin Mobile and I've been sourcing info about payment options, checking your balance, and just everything VM related. So, any tips and tricks to help a sista out? I would do a search but I would have to suss out what's valid and what's not as well as if the info is dated. Any info would be appreciated.

I only use prepaid cards and do not enter any credit card info into Virgin's system.

I purchase my cards through callingmart.com there are a few other options as well for online purchases. Most grocery stores, Target and some Wal-Marts carry VM cards too.

As far as payments go, I think it depends on what type of plan you are using. I am on Beyond Talk, and it's better to set up automatic payments to avoid any problems. There are several different options for automatic payments. I've never used PayLo, so I cant really help if that is what you are using.

I'm on the Beyond Talk (grandfathered 25 bucks) plan, and purchase my topups via online at WalMart ($24.88 no tax). I don't recommend using a credit or debit card with VM USA. They tend to take more than what they're supposed to (lots of posts about this, use the forum search tool to find them).

I'm on the same plan, and Virgin has never overcharged me.

On the Beyond Talk Plan here too, (also grandfathered in at $25 a month) and have been with VM for years. I started out using the top up cards, then found it just as easy to call them and add money using my credit card. Got tired of doing that, so I set up auto pay from the card and never have to worry about it. They send a text the day before stating that they will be taking the money out, either from my account balance or from my card. So far, I haven't had any problems with over charging...knock wood.

Thank you all for your help! Anyone use boostmobilesav dot com to top up with VM? There prices seem really good.

VM changed their resale plan for top-up cards. All of the really good online prices are going to start to vanish.

callingmart is the way to go i havent had any problems even though there discount will be no more after may still will be sales tax free.
