Help New Touchscreen not working

Hello all, I just installed a new touch screen after cracking it a couple days ago. When it was cracked it was still working. Since the new touch screen was installed the upper inch or so has not been responsive to touch. The rest of the screen responds just fine though.
Any ideas of what the problem could be?

I was planning on taking it apart again and making sure everything was in its right place.

Thread moved to the troubleshooting section. Perhaps the connections are not all tightly in place?

I would try to check see if everything is firmly and completely plugged in. There may be a loose connection somewhere that you missed.
