Help new update for galaxy note how to get it ,,,tmobile

so ,my friend got a unlocked note but he is on AT n T he got the update new keyboard n so on im with tmobile is there a way to get the update or do i need to use his sim card update then put my card n.. what do u guys think?

All you need to do is go to SETTING/ABOUT THE PHONE/SOFTWARE UPDATE then click on UPDATE to update your phone. I would suggest you use wifi to update youe phone. You don't need to swap simcard.

hmm interesting advice BUT what if you try to update through about phone etc..and its says there is no update...even though i konw there is cos all you guys have got it......except of course for me!!!!

i tried updating as said above does not update ... im guessing its geared towards carriers only...

Well I got the update today
