New Update

hmmm....i just made a bumped version of the t-mobile recovery but i'm hesitant on trying it out....did anyone try out the regular T-Mobile version on Boost Mobile and verify that it did brick the device?
 
I'm not rooted and updated a few weeks ago, 5.1.1. You'd have to read the patch notes to see what the fixes are. Seems like there was a good fix in it, but I can't remember what it was. Might have had something to do with a memory leak.

kingroot might still work as a temporary root like it did for the stock 5.0.2 rom

cause i was hopeful and tried LG Mobile support tool, PC Suite, and Bridge and they all three couldn't upgrade it in booted splash screen or download mode sadly :/
