New user need some help form old user

I am new user of Galaxy S3. I have upgraded for Nokia N8.
I am facing some problem. I will be glad if experience user plese help me to solve them.
1. Alarm clock is not working while phone is switch off. Is it not possible to alarm during switch off condition like Symbian phone?
2. I have Nokia BH-217 bluthood headset. It is pairing with my S3 and also able to make call. But it is not wotking in voip call, Nimbuzz, Fring, Skype.

Can't help with the second, but to answer the first: no, sorry, off actually means off, not sleeping deeply, and the alarm won't work. If you want the alarm to work while not being disturbed and saving power try putting it into airplane mode rather than turning off.

Does the Nokia headset support A2DP? This is normally needed to support items like VOIP packages. If so, check the phones settings for the device when connected and see if there is an option to enable A2DP.
