New user saying Hi

Just got a Samsung Galaxy Ace from CPW. New to smartphones, so been reading up on the other threads. Have only had it 2 weeks, but have already had the low memory pop up, and had to delete some apps from internal memory before I could receive any more texts.
Took phone back to CPW, but they were as useful as a chocolate teapot.
According to APP 2 SD i have 21 apps on my SD card, and 12 apps on internal memory which cant be moved (Facebook being the biggest at 20mb) Apparenntly I have 84mb available on internal memory, is this normal, or can l clear it down much more?
Also, according to Google Play, the galaxy ace is not compatable with BBC iplayer. Does anyone know why?

I don't know if this helps but if your phone can take an SD card then try purchasing one with more gigabytes of space on it.
