You are right, I just wanted to give a heads up, since the VM Android phone selection is so limited, some may find it interesting.
But if it offends people, I am sure a Mod could move or delete. no problem.

Thank you for posting it. I think is relevant as I am done with the small screen of the Optimus V
 
I'm excited a new phone is coming out lol...now I'll have a good reason to get it!
Me to my fiancee- "i need to get it so I can give you my old phone since you want it so much" hahahaa
 
Wow pretty cool, I love my Optimus V but hey a front and back facing camera with 5mp, HDMI, and huge 4.1 inch screen is making think the honey moon could be over for my Optimus V. Thanks for posting:)
 
I love my Optimus V, but wow, to have room for lots of apps (without rooting, that is). I've been at around 20 MB of storage since week four of ownership.
 
I think this thread belongs in this forum for sure.

I like the idea of the bigger screen on the Motorola Triumph, but I like the compactness of the Optimus V...
 
Great suggestion- I hadn't thought of that.
Now, I just need to find a fiancee. A fiancee AND a new phone. That would be great. Especially if she makes good money-- I'm broke.:cool:

I read that it will do flash. I want to play with one first... but if i like it afterwords, i might just buy it lol. I love my optimus dont get me wrong. Its my favorite phone i've ever owned. But i think the bigger screen, 5mp camera, front facing camera, flash support, and faster processor might just win me over.


Well, I just watched that video and I am definately getting that phone!!! 1ghz snapdragon sold me. I'm tired of having an entry level android phone. But like I said, I love my optimus. But i sure would like to have that Triumph! I wonder if it will get Gingerbread? That might suck if the optimus gets gingerbread right when the triumph comes out :/
 
Time to start saving up! :) Then again, if they discount the Optimus V when it comes out, I might still get that. Only time will tell.
 
Definitely going to get this one when it comes out. Even if it costs $300, I'm still only paying $25/month for service. Compared to an $80/month contract, it would only take about 7 months to pay for itself. That and all of the upgrades over my V... Yeah, definitely getting it.
 
Motorola is way to fond of locked bootloaders. I love the ability to easily customize my V. Think I'll wait and see if anyone can root and get a working rom until I shell out any more money on a new phone.

Indeed. As much as I hate to think about it, I have a feeling its gonna be 3 or 400 dollars :/
Sadly, that money isnt so easily shelled out now that we just moved out and are paying bills...
20 dollars at a time, lol I'll have it before its too outdated
 
Due to people reporting this thread, I'll move this to the Other Phones forum until the admin creates a Triumph forum (which should be soon), and then I'll move this thread there.
 
Flash, bigger screen, 1ghz processor, 2gig phone memory...hmm I'm saving money and might get it for my bday next year! But as for now, my Optimus is only 3 months old and I love it!
 
I wonder if this will make the Optimus V go down. HDMI sounds a bit unnecessary to me. But, the large screen looks great! At any rate, it's cool to see a phone of this caliber make it to the prepaid market. I will probably hold off for a while.

I agree with holding off. I believe the Optimus V was a lure to get people to VM. I'm sure the Triumph was in the works before the OpV was put on the market. It does look like a very cool phone, but just like everything else in the electronic world there will always be something better!
