Help New waterproof/shockproof tablet

Dear Sirs:
I would like to purchase a new tablet like the xscape but only if it will do what I NEED it to do.
I am building an electric motorcycle conversion and I will be building a website to feed traffic into
sponsor’s websites. So I am looking for sponsorships. But that's a different subject...
I need the tablet to be my digital key to unlock my electric motorcycle. The tablet can have passcode, retinal scanner, thumb print scanner, how ever much security you desire. It then connects wifi to the emc. The tablet then becomes your dash board...
The tablet monitors and displays speed, odometer, temperatures, pressures, voltages , more... all customizable by the user. It can also have a GPS widget . It wont dim down or power out the display like my old laptop that I'm typing this with does.
The tablet is a computer. it should hold all the programs and controls for the e-bike. It could be used in electric car conversions too. But the rugged waterproof construction of the xscape tablet is perfect for electrified mountain bikes and electric motorcycle conversions. It can hold the programs and control the ac induction drive motor.
It can be the interface or control the Battery Management System and charging algorithms and cell balancing.
The same app can be put on a smartphone and can be used for controlling your electric bicycle, becoming the dashboard easily and securely mounted on your handlebars. Do you realize how large a market there is for this device? WORLDWIDE!
Thank you for reading. Please forward this message up the chain to see if I can manifest this request!
Gratefully,
Steven Orcutt

Hi Steve, and welcome to the forum :)

You do realise that this is just a discussion forum for android users? We are not affiliated to Google or to any device manufacturer, so we can't actually push the suggestions up the line to anyone (well I could send them to Phases, who's the site administrator, but I don't know what he could do with them ;)).

We do have an Application Requests forum, where people can place requests/ideas for applications and see whether a developer would like to take them up on it. But for specific device features you'd need to convince a manufacturer, such as the people who make the Xscape tablet, that this is a device worth making. Google themselves develop the Android OS, but apart from the Nexus line do not make devices, instead leaving that to others.

My point was missed... The device exists now. It's just the program that needs to be created. I don't have a clue how to program an android.
I know that there are apps that exist now, eg Torque, that communicate with android and the user can even customize the display. One guy for sure is using one in Europe:
That app connects to an ORION BMS (which are very expensive). But the point is that this is very possible and needs to be done.

So you need to find a developer, or convince the hardware manufacturer that this is a big enough use case that they should find a developer.

I don't think you can just hope that someone from that company happens to find your post and picks it up though. That would be a very long shot.
