THIS IS NOT FOR NOOBS. DISCLAIMER (I'M NOT RESPOSIBLE BLAH BLAH. ) HIT THANKS OR LIKE OR ASK AWAY OR HELP ME. PLEASE POST SCREENIES
step one.
copy systemUI.apk from root using root explorer paid or ghost explorer.
step two.
copy it any where in /sdcard
step three .
extract
step four
go to extracted folder
step five
open systemUI, then find /res
step six
move this file to your computer
step Seven
open find drawable- mdpi folder and edit using paint or gimp.
step eight
after theming , save each change then add it back to systemUi folder on and replace.
step nine
put this folder back on phone and in download folder or an empty folder. you'll remember. then zip SystemUI folder go to zip and rename to .apk
step ten
back up stock system ui from system
last
copy the systemUI that you themed change permission to r/w . paste and replace it in /system folder on root/ folder then r/o permission.
reboot and enjoy.
if you try it and would like to add or fix please do.

Note that this only works for system apps. 3rd party apps need to be signed using an APK Utility. Ninjamorph is supposed to work on the phone to replace icons in system and 3rd party apps, but only if you already have the replacement .png's on your SD.

Another note: Try to keep the icons the same size. Otherwise your new icons might show up weird, or not show at all.

I have themed but my icons bg is white how do I default to noty

If you just want the background to be invisible, you need to turn down the alpha. Go into a photo editor and adjust the alpha for the white background until it disappears.
