Hi, all, just got a WM8650 tab off EBay for $80 shipped. Slower than I'd like, and the battery life is awful (about an hour), but it's still been fun learning it and it does give me something I can take in to work (I can VPN in to work from a personally owned computer, and I can take in a tablet or smartphone, but can't take in my personal laptop - go figure).
I am getting a lot of good info from the forum, and everyone seems helpful. There's a lot of strong competency with Android on display (so I'll be posting some help requests PDQ). I don't know if I'm up to rooting this one, but I may actually buy another for that specific reason - I hear it makes a huge difference.
