Joined this great group to get my SGH T679 working good without T Mo extras.
Don't usually fool with extra roms but after the 2.3.6 and no root , may be the way to go.
Hope all the smart people here can root the new os.... [was fine until update]

Ok gang, went to xda dev web site for exhibit 4g, followed the directions for clockwork mod install and then installed rooted rom listed.
Works perfectly like it did before 2.3.6
One issue you need to know is save you data, wipes the phone data, have to install all the programs like it was a new phone.
