I'm new to the Android scene altogether, let alone the forum. I just picked up a Nexus S as my first smartphone about a month ago. (Despite the Prime coming out soon. Silly me.) My main reason for choosing an Android phone in the first place was because of the minimal effort it would take to migrate to it since all my online stuff is on Google anyway.
I'm a pretty techy guy as well, though I don't really have any plans to root my phone at all. Even still I've already done more things to it with the average user, such as manually updating via recovery mode. I haven't caused my phone to blow up just yet so it must be a good sign.
I hope to use the forum quite a bit, actually, as I do have questions and some minor issues in the early going and stuff, so hopefully I'll be around.
