Help Newb question

so i just inhereted a motorala cliq and have been doing some research online and such.. but my question is about unlocking this phone to work with at&t.. i know it is possible with a unlock code..
first of all.. if i unlock this phone and use it with my at&t sim card will be be fully functional??
second.. can anyone recommend a good source for a unlock code (for example ebay or somewhere else that might be better)
this will be my first android phone so im looking for it to be fully functional.. otherwise ill probably just sitck with my p.o.s. old at&t phone.. any and all info would be greatly appreciated

i use Blowfish on Ebay and he has been solid...

just search "Motorola Cliq unlock code " and look for the bouncer looking icon...

ya i use mine on AT&T and the only thing that doesnt work is 3G data.. edge works fine tho

Web works except it's on Edge vs 3G.... Edge is slower than 3G.

meaning that you can use EDGE cellular data (slower) but 3G which is the faster data will not connect.
market web everything still works.. just not at 3G speeds, unless you are on wifi, then everything is fast.
