OK gang, I just picket up an LG optimus dynamic and it will be active as soon as the time runs out on my old phone. I know nothing about android other than its based on Linux and runs on an ARM processor. I know Microsoft from win 311 to win 7 from the wrong side out and have done computers for many years and the android OS looks challenging to say the least What scares me the most is breaking the screen, I can probably reload the OS but the screen looks like another story. It looks like I can turn it into a wireless reciever with it hooked to a cell tower and the included USB cable to transmit to a computer I am working on have I got this right? Can I leave it this way for hours and the cable will keep it charged and transmit data at the same time for a big job?

It's technically possible however some networks monitor traffic to prevent tethering.

You can usually get around this by having the browser report that it's your phone. If you search the forum, there are discussions about this with some suggestions about software that will let you do it.

Can anyone help me figure out which running apps i can close without messing up everthing that i have done? I would also like to find out what LGATCMD Services is or is running. i don't know much aboit phones so i have a lot of questions. i also need to know what the wiper app is that is also running.can someone please help me?
