Newbie Android user

Hey there, I recently decided to join the ranks of Android users for the first time with an HTC Inspire 4G. This will actually be my first smartphone so I expect I'll have a lot of learning to do. I don't have any specific questions yet but I'm sure I will so, here I am. I probably won't be rooting it, at least not at first, I'll want to learn about the stock OS before jumping into the deep end, but who knows? I'm pretty excited about having a cool new tech toy to play with.

The learning will be fun with a cool phone like the Inspire. Welcome to Android Forums. I had the same game plan when I first got my Incredible. I was able to get up to speed quickly with the helpful people here and I never have gotten around to rooting. I keep saying I will when I get bored lol. In any event, I hope you enjoy the forums and it proves to be a useful tool for you. Here is a link to the sub forum here for your Inspire: HTC Inspire 4G - Android Forums Have fun and thanks for joining the forums.

Welcome to Android Forums!

My guess is after a few days reading through the forums, the allure of rooting will change you mind.
