Help Newbie can't connect Tab 2 to home wifi

Hi,

Just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. When I tried to connect to my router I just get "obtaining IP address" for about 3 minutes, then "Network disabled. Poor connection".
Router seems ok, because I'm connected on this laptop.

Problem is a) no manual, and b) can't get any further into the tablet's setting until I pass this point.

Help, please !!

I have moved this thread into the Galaxy Tab 2 forums to get some better assistance.

Have you tried to reset the router? Is there a password on it (the router)?

Problem solved!
It did turn out to be the password ... I entered what I thought was correct, and it just accepted it - didn't tell me I was wrong, so I assumed everything was ok and carried on - big mistake!
Anyway I tried a few other possibilities and eventually got it.
